Andre was found dead dressed in women’s clothing. They had been stabbed multiple times and shot in the head. No arrests were made.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Police recorded Providence's third killing in a week Saturday when three children discovered the bloodied body of a man dressed in women's clothing.
Authorities were not sure about the victim's sex until an autopsy was performed by a state medical examiner.
The victim was identified as Andre Vacarro, 31, of Providence.
The autopsy showed Vacarro died from numerous stab wounds and a gunshot to the head.
Police interviewed residents in the area where Vaccaro's body was found in a parked car behind a school around 9:30 a.m. No arrests were made.
