Edna was shot dead in her appartment. The identity of her killer is not known.
TRANSSEXUAL STABBING VICTIM'S CAR FOUND: Police Friday found the car belonging to a [trans woman] found dead in [her] northwest Atlanta apartment from a chest stab wound.
The 1990 blue Ford Tempo was found at 1849 Lawrenceville Highway in Decatur, but no arrests had been made, said Atlanta Homicide Capt. Calvin Wardlaw.
The decomposed, nude body of Edna Brown was found by police Thursday afternoon under a pile of clothes at 455 James P. Brawley Drive, police said. Neighbors said they hadn't seen [Ms.] Brown since Christmas Day. Associate Fulton County Medical Examiner Thomas Young said Mr. Brown was a [trans woman] who had not had an operation but apparently had been taking female hormones that caused bodily changes.
