Manuela was found In her house with her head smashed in by an unidentified object.
She was a Crisalide AzioneTrans Association member and a sex worker who could not find other employment and had once put an advert in a newspaper trying to sell a kidney so she wouldn't have to continue with sex work.
Manuela was brutally killed in the night between Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April. When her body was found she was half-naked on her sofa, with her skull fractured from six blows to the head, and her face covered by a pillow — presumably to muffle her screams.
