İrem Okan

İrem was stabbed multiple times - from her throat to her stomach. The police found her body at the entrance of her apartment.

Emrah Şen, 22, who had met Irem online, was subsequently arrested, and on 7th April 2011 he was sentenced to 28 years and 4 months in prison.

Emrah Şen, 22, was sentenced to 28 years and 4 months in prison for allegedly stabbing and killing 28-year-old İrem Okan in Bursa last year.

According to Kaos GL, İrem Okan was found killed with 44 stab wounds in her home on Altinparmak Caddesi in Osmangazi District in September last year. The corpse of Okan, which had been cut from her throat to her abdomen, was found by a friend who came to the house.

İrem was buried in Edincik Township of Balikesir, her birthplace.
