Camila was shot by a client on Rua Doutor Edgard Teotônio Santana at around 8.30 pm. She reportedly did not have change to give him when he paid and owed him 10 reais (10 R$) as a result.
The client later came back with a gun and shot her at least seven times. A witness reported the license plate of the motorcycle on which the perpetrator fled.
