Jade was stabbed in the early morning on a street. She died in hospital hours later after confirming that her assilant was known to her.
The attack took place on R. Hormell Nunes Duarte.
The investigative team of the 3rd Police Station is investigating the second homicide of the year in the Casino resort (the 16th in Rio Grande). The victim, identified as [deadname] Mello (Jade), 46, was stabbed to death in the early hours of Wednesday, 17.
According to the police report, at about 2:30 am, the Military Brigade was informed that two [people] were be fighting on Rua Nunes Duarte, Cassino. A garrison was immediately deployed to answer the call.
Arriving at the scene, the military police found a [woman] lying on the floor, with mouth injuries and perforations in [her] abdomen. The victim was rescued and taken to the Casino Health Post, and later transferred to the emergency room of Santa Casa.
At around 4:29 am the victim told the medical team that the perpetrator of the assault was her companion. At 11:40am the following morning she died in the operating room due to hemorrhagic shock.
