Vanessa's naked body was found in an irrigation canal in a rural area. She had been stabbed three times.
It is thought that she had been killed elsewhere and her body carried along by the current.
On the morning of Friday (03), at around 08h30, the police were called to verify an alleged homicide in the Senator Nilo Coelho Project, N-11, near the Timbaúba Farm, rural Petrolina-PE.
According to the police, the body was in a hard to reach location in an irrigation canal, which was dammed in one of the water retention terminals. It was displaced by the water current where the channel was opened.
The victim was identified, preliminarily, as: [deadname] Pereira da Silva. 18 years old, known as “Vanessa Ganzaroli”, a [trans woman] born in the city of Serra Talhada-PE. The victim's body was naked and had 03 (three) stab wounds caused by a knife.
Friends informed Portal Nayn Neto that [she] had left home in the city of Petrolina on Friday (03), and until today they had not heard any news. They also said that she went to live in the city of Petrolina-PE, a few years ago.
