Vanessa Ferreira Prestes

Vanessa was shot dead on the night of Friday 8th April by two men on a motorcycle.

At the time she was on the sidewalk of a street between Bento Munhoz da Rocha Neto Avenue and Etuzi Takayama. According to witnesses, her killers shot her in the face without getting off the bike. She died in hospital.

Vanessa was an LGBT activist and active in the prevention and treatment of STDs, notably HIV and AIDS.

Psol Paranaguá's LGBT population repudiates the murder of the transvestite Vanessa, which took place on the night of April 08, 2016 in Paranaguá.

Vanessa, a 35-year-old LGBT activist and active member of STD / HIV / AIDS prevention and protection, was known to both the LGBT community of Paranaguá and revelers, as every carnival featured prominently in several samba schools in the city, had her life cut down last Friday night.

Giovanna, Brenda (murdered in Santa Catarina), Dafne, Pepê and now Vanessa, are some cases of transvestites and parnaguaras transsexuals murdered in recent years.
