Nava, Coah.- Nava police authorities reported the discovery of a lifeless person with signs of male violence, identified as [deadname] Galván Zamora, but who was known as “Evelin Abigaíl” Galván when she participated in gay beauty pageants.
The body was located in a vacant lot in the Las Torres neighborhood in Nava. Her friends had put out a call via social networks to locate her, since they had not heard from her since last weekend.
Evelin Abigaíl participated in beauty pageants among the gay community and was known for leading her life openly as an LGBT+ person without problems with anyone.
On social networks, her friends published phrases like “Evelin Abigaíl” check in, friend, how are you?”
According to reports from ella's relatives, they had not heard from her since last weekend at her home in the Cascajera ejido.
Police considered this "a crime of passion".
