The victim was killed in the early hours of Saturday 18th June. Witnesses heard her call for help and when they went to the scene they found her body.
A piece of wood was found next to her body.
A [person] who has not yet been identified was beaten to death in the early hours of Saturday (18) in the Cidade de Deus neighborhood, in the North Zone of Manaus. According to police, the victim was a [trans woman]. There are no suspects in the crime yet.
According to information from the Civil Police, the crime occurred around 5 am at the intersectio of rua Tetéus and Guarabira. Residents told investigators that they heard the victim ask for help and when they went to the scene they found the body.
The victim was found near the ground of a house to which he would have tried to escape. According to police, the victim was wearing women's clothes and with her belongings were found, such as a wig and makeup. A stick, which was apparently the murder weapon, was found next to the body.
