Tato was stabbed repeatedly.
The body of a [trans woman] was found this Sunday morning by residents of the El Rosario neighborhood, department of El Paraíso, Honduras.
The victim responded to the name of [deadname] Ayestas, known locally as "Tato".
The body of Ayestas had several wounds of a knife, dagger type, which caused death.
The [trans woman] was a resident of the El Carmen neighborhood, a nearby town where her body was found.
Villagers revealed that Ayestas was last seen at 7:00 on Saturday night.
