Mia's body was found inside her apartment on 1st May 2017 four days after her death. Her purse and cellphone were missing. The last time she was seen was with two men.
Mia was a call center employee and a dancer at Club Mwaah. Her Facebook profile is https://www.facebook.com/mia.montealegre.1.
Her death was not included on the official TDoR 2017 list released by Transgender Europe (TGEU) in November 2017.
