The victim's body was found inside a plastic bag which was floating in a drainage canal.
She was found just a few meters away from the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) and in front of a gas station which is open 24 hours.
Tehuacán, Pue.- The corpse of a [woman] dressed in women's clothing was found this Saturday in the Valsequillo drain, in the municipality of Tehuacán.
The discovery was made by a man who was cutting vegetation near the sewage canal, when he spotted the plastic bag which contained the body.
Police officers searched the bag and found [the body of] a person wearing a cream-colored blouse and black shorts, but who was not carrying identifying documents.
After being lifted by personnel of the State Attorney General's Office (FGE), the remains were taken to the municipal amphitheater for necropsy.
