Remembering Our Dead

Carlos Brandão

Carlos died from malnutrition after suffering neglect and ill-treatment in the hospital where he had been since being beaten on his way to work in early August.

His sister Elen reported his treatment and eventually managed to get him transferred, but he died 5 days later.
