Benjamin was stabbed in the back during a fight with a man he had accused of robbery.

According to delegate Luana Alves, from the femicide nucleus of the Department of Homicide and Protection of the Person, the crime may have been motivated by a feud between the victim and the suspect. “It appears that the suspect had already committed a robbery against the victim. The two men kept threatening each other, and there was as fight”, said the delegate.
