Chanel was shot dead at midnight on Sunday 15th July by unknown assailants while working on Alexander Von Humboldt Avenue. She died in an ambulance on the way to hospital.
In April 2019 Juan Carlos Tarango, 37, was sentenced to spend 47 years and 6 months in prison for her murder.
After six months of trial, Juan Carlos Tarango, 37 years old, was sentenced to spend 47 years and 6 months in the Santiaguito prison in Almoloya de Juárez for the murder of Chanel, recorded in the capital of the State of Mexico. .
The sentence was imposed by Judge Rubén, attached to the Toluca District Courts adjacent to the Almoloya de Juárez prison under case 59/2019, which also established a reparation of the damage for 194 thousand pesos to the relatives of the murdered victim.
