Lohane's half-naked body was found in a thicket on Rua José Alves Lins in the Novo Horizonte neighborhood. She had been stabbed and her body dragged into the street.
Her boyfriend Robson José da Silva is being sought in connection with the crime.
The body of a young [trans woman] was found in a vacant lot, near the CAIC in the neighborhood of Palmares, in Palmares, in the southern part of the state, early this afternoon (17). The victim, known as Lohane, was found with few pieces of clothing.
The Military Police were in the place and verified the occurrence. The [trans woman] had stab marks on her body, especially on the chest and arm. According to the investigations, [deadname], 21, had occasional amorous relationships with the suspect, identified as Robson José da Silva, who is a fugitive.
According to investigators there were bloodstains at the fugitive's address, suggesting that Lohane was killed in the suspect's home after a fight between them.
Note that some news reports give her name was Jasmine.
