Rosalinda's body was found with stab wounds and signs of beating. Police arrested Alexis Ortiz Céspedes, 31, and José Augusto Meran Vicente, 32.

The lifeless body of Rosalinda had several stab wounds in different parts of the body as well as blows, allegedly caused by a building block that was found right next to the bloodied victim.

So far the Dominican GLBT Volunteer does not know the circumstances in which the [transgender] sex worker was killed. The body will be sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences in Santo Domingo for autopsy.
