The victim's body was found by police dumped in a stream with her hands tied. She had been suffocated.
Ciudad Juarez.- A [trans woman], with dyed hair and wearing women's clothing, was killed early this mornin and her body located in a stream in the Libertad neighborhood.
The Attorney General's Office (FGE) in the North Zone, through its spokesman Alejandro Ruvalcaba, announced that the victim was not a [cisgender] woman as initially thought by the Ministry of Public Security (SSPM), whose agents were First responders at the scene.
When moving the body to the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) the doctors realized that she was a [trans woman] of approximately 25 years.
Apparently she was suffocated and had her hands tied at the time of the discovery, Ruvalcaba said.
