The body of an unidentified trans woman was found on a highway on the morning of Sunday 10th May. She appeared to have been beaten and her body dumped from a vehicle.

The body of a transsexual girl was found on the morning of this May 10 around 6:00 in the morning in the Arco Poniente bypass, near the community of San Mateo Capultitlan, belonging to Huejotzingo. A report was made to the 911 emergency number when motorists saw the body in the road.

The body was initially reported as a decapitated body, but when they arrived, elements of the Huejotzingo Municipal Police and National Guard found signs that she had been run over. At the scene a licence plate SMN-54-18 from the state of Puebla was found, which corresponds to a 2012 model Honda Odyssey truck.

According to information from the authorities involved in the case, it is likely that she was attacked and beaten and then finished off with the vehicle, so the body appeared to be beheaded.
