The body of the victim was found in the street with stab wounds early on Monday 3rd August.

The Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP) investigates the death of a [trans woman] executed with knife blows at dawn on Monday (3). The crime took place on Rua Pedro Cardoso Uchôa, in the Bonsucesso neighborhood of Fortaleza. A police inquiry was launched.

The body was found about 700 meters from a unit of the Environmental Police Battalion (BPMA), located near the Maranguapinho River.
