The victim was shot twice in what appears to have been a revenge murder attempt. When her attacker was arrested he confessed to the murder of another trans woman.
A [trans woman] was the victim of an attempted murder in São Bernardo do Campo, Greater São Paulo, on Monday night (3).
According to the police, the criminal went to the city center with the aim of revenge. He got out of a silver car and shot the [trans woman] twice, one in the leg and one in the belly. In testimony, the 42-year-old said he had his cell phone and other belongings stolen by her last Sunday (2).
