Sam and a man she was riding with were both knocked off a motorcycle by a car. The driver of the car then returned to drive over her body.
The other rider fled without trying to help her.
In the early hours of this Thursday, the transfemicide of Sam Rosales occurred in Atlixco, Puebla. The events occurred less than 24 hours after another transfemicide: that of Julie Torres in Jalisco.
Sam Rosales was run over and killed. The 23-year-old trans young woman was riding on a motorcycle with a companion on the Boulevard Ferrocarriles at the height of calle Pino Suárez, in the Revolución neighborhood of Atlixco, Puebla, when a vehicle began to pursue her.
Security cameras captured the moment when a Tsuru vehicle catches up with the motorcycle and impacted, causing its riders to fall. Later, the perpetrator of the transfemicide returned in his vehicle to run over Sam Rosales.
The young trans woman's companion managed to get up and fled the scene without helping her.
