The victim was burned alive by her own partner - another trans woman. Jealousy is thought to have been the motive for the attack.
A 40-year-old transsexual woman was murdered by her partner in the city of Serra, in the metropolitan region of Espirito Santo. The victim had her body burned while she was sleeping.
According to information obtained by UOL the crime was motivated by jealousy. The suspect is a 21-year-old trans woman who lived with the victim.
The fire caused burns to the victim's chest and chest and also consumed the couple's residence. The victim was taken to the UPA of Castelândia with burns to 40% of her body.
The perpetrator of the attack was referred to the Special Women's Police Station in the Metropolitan Region and will be charged with homicide qualified by the use of fire.
