Andressa was found with injuries to her body, face and head on the morning on Saturday 2nd January. She had been beaten.
The São Roque Civil Police confirmed that a [trans woman] was beaten to death on Saturday morning, 02, in the Paisagem Colonial neighborhood.
The victim was found by the Military Police fallen in a hole at the end of Rua Claudio Manoel da Costa with several injuries to her body, face and head, caused, according to the police, by blows.
At the scene, the police realized that the victim, despite being badly bruised and bloody, was still breathing and the Fire Department was called to the rescue.
The victim was referred to the Emergency Department of Santa Casa de São Roque, but died from her injuries. The body was sent to IML Sorocaba to await recognition.
The São Roque Civil Police went to the place where she was found and started investigating. According to the Civil Police, the [trans woman] did not carry documents. IML investigators were later able to identify the victim.
According to a survey by the police, she had been living in São Roque for just over 6 months and was living in the Colonial Landscape at the home of someone she knew.
