The body of the unidentified victim was found in a rural area on 19th July - exactly a month after the murder of Pompéia Ramos. Three men and a woman found nearby were arrested.
The body found on Monday (19) in the rural area of President Prudente is a [trans woman], according to police. The victim was found with a gunshot wound to the rib region on a rural road that gives access to Bairro do Gramado. According to the police, she was taken to the Regional Hospital, where her death was confirmed.
Near the crime scene, the PM found a crashed car with four people, three men and a [sex worker]. All were arrested and taken to the Participatory Civil Police Precinct, where the case was registered.
Apparently, the [trans woman] was murdered after falling out with the suspects. There is a suspicion that she was working before she was murdered. "There was a commercial disagreement between the victim and the perpetrator and then the shooting," summed up officer Thalles Macena, who responded to the incident.
The man named by the PM as the author of the murder already has a police record for robbery and drug trafficking. The weapon used in the crime, a .38 caliber revolver, was discarded but found by a sniffer dog hours later. The case remains under investigation.
