The body of an unidentified trans woman was found floating in a waste water channel in the Colonia el Paraíso II area at around 9am on Sunday 3rd October.
This morning the Municipal Fire Brigade (CBM) reported the location of a body on the banks of a sewage river, in zona 18, hours later the entity reported that it was a woman. The case will be investigated by the Prosecutor's Office Against the Crime of Femicide of the Public Ministry, as reported, for now the cause of death and identity of the person are unknown.
At 9:00 am this morning, lifeguards published the discovery of a woman floating in a river of sewage in the area known as Las Champas, in Colonia el Paraíso II, zona 18 in the capital. Firefighters were alerted by the residents of the area, when they arrived they determined that the woman had died.
The firefighters reported that the person was between 20 and 25 years of age, and they also reported that it was a transgender woman; this has not yet been confirmed by the authorities.
At 4:45 p.m., the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) indicated that it was not yet known with certainty whether the victim presented signs of violence, nor have they been able to confirm the identity of the woman.
