Citlalli and her partner Sinai died after being shot during an attack on a bar.

This Sunday night a 47-year-old woman, identified as Sinai Sánchez, and her companion, a 42-year-old trans woman known as "La Citlali", were shot to death.

The armed attack was recorded in a bar called Flor de Canela located in the town of Unión Hidalgo on the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, where unknown individuals arrived opening fire.

The Oaxaca Attorney General's Office has initiated proceedings, but no arrests have been reported.

In social network posts members of the Transgender Movement in Oaxaca, condemned the events and demanded justice for the person of the trans and muxe community.
