La Flaca was shot by a hitman while she was selling sweets in a park.

[Deadname] Bermudez, who was known as La Flaca, died last night at 8:30, in an attack by a hitman in Guadalupe Zapata Park. Apparently a man approached her and shot her.

We are disappearing, they are exterminating us: in Colombia being trans people is costing us our lives.

On May 26, while she was selling minutos and sweets in Pereira, La Flaca was murdered. State violence and abandonment continue to claim trans lives on the streets.
