The body of the victim was found inside a residence with signs of violence. Her identity was not reported.
The State Prosecutor's Office is carrying out corresponding investigations into the events involving the death of a trans woman, whose body was located inside an apartment located in the Prados Providencia neighborhood of Guadalajara.
The discovery came after an anonymous report that indicated that an unconscious person was found inside a house located on calle Bonifacio Andrada. Elements of the Guadalajara police station and paramedics from the Municipal Medical Services confirmed the report after arriving at the site, indicating that the victim apparently shows signs of violence.
Ministerial agents of the Specialized Unit for the Attention of Crimes due to Sexual Diversity of the Special Prosecutor for Human Rights, were the ones who carried out the initial investigations from a gender perspective, with a differential and specialized approach as established by law. Experts from the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences processed the scene in search of evidence and later the body was transferred to the metropolitan morgue where the corresponding opinions will be made to determine the cause of death.
