The victim was stabbed by another trans sex worker in the Pigalle area of Paris during the early hours of Thursday 11th August. Her identity was not reported.
A deadly brawl between two transgender people took place in Pigalle. The victim, aged around 30, was stabbed to death on the night of Wednesday to Thursday in Paris after an altercation broke out between two trans women at around 2:10 a.m. at the corner of boulevard de Clichy and rue Germain Pilon. One of them stabbed the other in the abdomen. She collapsed, with her head hitting the pavement.
A witness called the CRS who secured the area. Help arrives quickly to take care of the victim who, eviscerated and unconscious, was in cardiopulmonary arrest. The Samu team gave her cardiac massage for an hour before taking her to the hospital with a vital prognosis. Despite the care provided, she died at 5 a.m.
According to the neighborhood, the alleged perpetrator fled on foot towards the Moulin Rouge before getting into a taxi. The murder weapon was found on the street by officials. The judicial police have been tasked with carrying out the investigations, with the suspect being actively sought. The motive for this crime remains unknown for now.
