The victim died from head injuries in her home. The man who killed her then surrendered to police.

A [trans woman] was found dead inside her house, in Montes Claros , with several head injuries this Friday (23). A 30-year-old man was arrested.

“We received the information from the author himself, he committed the crime and went to the police station, where he confessed to the crime. With the information in hand, the Military Police carried out the arrest in the act and made the report", explained Major Reginaldo Ribeiro de Aguiar.

According to the police officer, the man stated that he had been living in the victim's house for two weeks, after leaving his parents' residence.

Two weeks after the kiling the 30-year-old suspect was indicted for murder.
