Evelyn was killed in a hotel by a client. He fled the scene in a vehicle, ramming the hotel gate on his way out.
The Sumaré Civil Police is looking for a man who killed a trans woman during a program at a motel in the city on Tuesday night. The crime took place in one of the rooms of the establishment, which is in Jardim Florence.
The information reported in the incident report indicates that a man and a woman arrived in a car around 9 am. At 18:00, a second woman who was in the room went to the concierge to ask for help, informing that the man had killed her colleague.
She told the motel employee that she had sneaked into the trunk of her car. In the meantime, the alleged customer left at high speed, destroying the motel's gate. He fled and so far has not been located.
The Military Police were called and found Evelyn Sampaio de Moraes, 33, dead.
On 8th December 2022 Rodrigo de França Abrante, 43, was arrested.
