Kamilla died in hospital just over 2 weeks after being beaten by her brother on Friday 2nd December.
The civil police is investigating the death of a [trans woman] who died this weekend in Sarandi. The victim was left at the UPA emergency care unit with a serious head injury on December 2nd.> Due to the severity of her injuries, Camila de Souza, 29, was transferred to Hospital Santa Rita, where she died days later.
According to information from the incident report, she and her brother got involved in an argument. During the fight, the boy hit Camila in the head with a stick. The aggression took place at the family's residence in the Jardim Verão neighborhood. The body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute of Maringá.
The young trans woman, Camila de Souza, ended up dying at Hospital Santa Rita de Maringá. The Civil Police opened an inquiry to investigate the case, as there is a suspicion that she was attacked on December 2 during a family dispute. She was only 29 years old.
Information about the wake and burial of Camilla's body was not disclosed.
