The victim was shot in her home by unidentified assailants.
Mexico City.- This Friday afternoon, a trans woman was shot to death in the Gustavo Vázquez neighborhood of the city of Colima, during the commemoration of Transgender Visibility Day. According to the reports compiled, her perpetrators arrived at her home on calle Caterpillar at around 2:30 p.m and shot her.
Despite the operation carried out by officers of the Colima Municipal Police in the area, no reports have been made of the capture of those responsible for the crime.
This incident represents the second murder of a trans woman in Colima during 2023. The first case took place on March 16 on Lázaro Cárdenas street, Tecomán municipality, where Joseline was murdered while riding her motorcycle.
