Pamela was shot in the head outside a hotel in the Vista Hermosa neighborhood of León.
León, Guanajuato - A trans woman was shot to death next to a hotel in the Vista Hermosa neighborhood. Authorities did not report the motive for the attack or the identity of the attackers.
The attack occurred minutes before 11 pm on bulevar San Juan Bosco, almost on the corner with Córdoba.
Pamela, as she was known in the place, was outside the Star Hotel, which she often attended. "She works there, she was engaged in prostitution, she also collected recyclable garbage" said an officer who was at the scene.
At that time a man arrived and approached Pamela, being behind her, he took out a firearm and fired a single shot. Seconds after the attack, the man fled on bulevar San Juan Bosco. The aggression was reported to the Single Emergency System 911, elements of the Municipal Police carried out a search operation, but were unsuccessful.
Paramedics came and gave her first aid, but Pamela no longer had vital signs due to her injury. Authorities reported that the victim only had an entry and exit shot to the head.
