Hulya's body was found 2-3 days after she had been tortured to death in the Khojahasan settlement of Baku.

On July 5, the body of Hulya Sadigova, a trans woman born in 1997, was found in the village of Khojakhasan in Baku. It was revealed that she was tortured to death. Hulya's aunt reported this to the police. The murder occurred 2-3 days before the discovery of the body.

During that time, Hulya's friends had contacted her mother to inform her that Hulya was missing and they couldn't find her.
