Guendi was shot by a group of armed assailants who invaded her home.

A 42-year-old trans woman was murdered inside her home in Babahoyo, Los Ríos province. The crime was denounced by the "Silhouette X" association on Wednesday, August 2. "Guendi, a 42-year-old trans woman, was shot by four heavily armed individuals aboard two motorcycles," a statement said.

According to the association, she was at her home when the four subjects entered "and opened fire on her" in the Malaria sector.

After that, the National Police went to the scene to carry out the respective removal of the corpse .

Several days earlier her partner had reportedly been murdered and their body dumped on a highway.
