Samara was shot by unidentified assailants.

A [trans woman], still unidentified, was murdered with at least four gunshots on Saturday night (16) in Parque Alvorada, north of Teresina.

A10 learned from the 9th Battalion of the Piauí Military Police that the victim was in the company of another person when the criminals, who have not yet been identified, arrived and fired several shots. The transvestite was shot in the head.

The victim died at the scene. People in the region did not know the victim. The Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) was called and removed the [trans woman's] body. The motive for the murder is still unknown.
