Beaten and strangled
The victim was tied up and killed in her home. Her identity was not reported.
Tijuana.- On New Year's Eve, a transsexual woman was murdered inside her home in the East Zone of the city, where she was found by a relative after several days of not hearing from her.
The victim was located on the night of December 31, around 9:00 pm, on the floor of her room, in her underwear and with her face brutally beaten and bloody.
In addition, her hands were tied behind her back and her killer placed a cloth inside her mouth and then strangled her.
The woman lived in an apartment in the private Naranja neighborhood in the Valle San Pedro neighborhood, in the La Presa Este municipal district. According to her relatives, she had not been seen or answered her phone for several days, so on the night of December 31, one of them came to her house to check that she was okay.
After she found her dead and with multiple signs of violence, she called the police.
The body of the 32-year-old woman was transferred to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo). Eleven personnel from the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) attended the crime scene.
