D.'s body was found in the street with a gunshot wound to the head.
A trans man, identified as [deadname] Gomes da Silva, was found dead with gunshot wounds to the head on Wednesday morning (31) in the village of Glória, in the city of Timon. According to information from the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP) of Timon, the population heard four shots around 10 pm on Tuesday night (30).
Following complaints from residents, a vehicle from the 11th Military Police Battalion of Timon-MA arrived at the scene, and then the Civil Police were called to respond to the incident.
According to police reports, in addition to the gunshot wounds, the man's hands and feet were tied. The 11th BPM of Timon-MA called the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) which removed the victim's body.
