Gisa was found dead in a vacant lot after being killed by a client. Her body showed signs of trauma caused by a blunt object to the skull.
Gisa, a 56-year-old [trans woman] and [sex worker], was killed by a client, who did not know she was transsexual. The information was revealed this Monday (29), by the investigation by the Specialized Homicide and Personal Protection Police Station (DHPP), days after the crime, which took place in a vacant lot on Rua Professora Tereza Lobo, Consil neighborhood, in Cuiabá , on April 6th of this year.
According to information obtained by the Estadão Mato Grosso report, the killer is from Minas Gerais and worked for a company that provided outsourced services in several municipalities in Brazil. The day before the crime, the man was in Cuiabá and after a dispute with a co-worker, he left the motel where he was staying, close to the Cuiabá Bus Station and went to get drunk.
The information revealed by the investigation says that the man took drugs for hours and in the early morning, under the heavy influence of drugs, he saw Gisa in the Consil region. The place, according to information, was used as a spot for prostitution and drug consumption as it was a deserted region, with vacant lots and abandoned businesses.
The suspect then went, approached Gisa and paid for the program. The two went into the woods and at the moment they were going to have sex, the man saw that Gisa was a transsexual. Out of control, the man grabbed a brick and hit the [trans woman] on the head until he murdered her. After the crime, the suspect hurriedly returned to the motel where he was staying.
The next day, the company bus returned to Minas Gerais. Gisa's body was located on Sunday morning by members of the public, who later called the police. The suspect stayed in Minas for 10 days, where he has a family, and when he was reassigned by the company to come and work in Nobres he was charged with the qualified homicide of Gisa.
