The victim died after being stabbed in the street. Her identity was not reported.
A trans woman lost her life after being attacked with a knife on Avenida Colón and Torres Bodet in the El Sauz neighborhood, on the borders of Guadalajara and San Pedro Tlaquepaque.
[After being attacked] she lay unresponsive on the ground with two stab wounds in the chest, which caused her death. When paramedics arrived they attended the trans woman, approximately 30 to 35 years old.
It should be noted that 30 minutes passed without the authorities coming to the scene, either from the Guadalajara Police Station nor from Tlaquepaque, since each said it belonged to the other department respectively.
Finally, the Forensic Medical Service went to the scene to transport the victim to the metropolitan morgue, while the San Pedro Tlaquepaque public security police station acted as first responder.
This case is investigated under the established protocols carried out by the Specialized Human Rights Prosecutor's Office (FEDH) of the State Prosecutor's Office (FE) to apprehend whoever is responsible for the death.
