G. Cabansag

G. was found dead in a cemetery after apparently being kidnapped. Three suspects have been identified.

LAGAN CITY, Isabela - A [trans person] who was allegedly raped in Centro San Antonio, Ilagan City, Isabela was found dead.

the family of the victim Cabansag reported their disappearance this Wednesday afternoon, July 31, 2024.

As a result, the authorities immediately contacted the live-in partner of the victim. It appears that they called on their cell phone but a man answered who ordered them to pick up Cabansag at a core shelter. They did not go.

A few hours later, the victim's roommate noticed that his cell phone had a missed call from Cabansag, so called back. It is reported that the victim was able to answer but was begging and asking for help. Because of this, the live-in partner went to the place where Cabansag was last seen but was unable to find them there.

The live in partner of the victim decided to help the police and barangay officials in the search.

Unfortunately, the lifeless Cabansag who was suspected of being [kidnapped] was found by the authorities at the cemetery.

In the police investigation, the three men who drank with the victim before they disappeared became the main suspects. Two of them were successfully arrested but one was able to escape who was found to be facing a charge of murder.

The victim's relatives are appealing to the police to find and catch a fugitive to be held accountable for killing their loved one.
