Jennifer was shot dead as she got off a bus. Reportedly her killer was waiting for her at the bus stop.

A trans woman was shot dead as she got off a passenger bus on the streets of the city of Orizaba, Veracruz.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred at kilometer 275 near a gas station in the municipality.

Reports indicate that the woman was ready to get off the bus when a man was allegedly waiting for her at the bus stop.

The subject then began shooting at him without saying a word and then fled in an unknown direction.

After the gunshots, the victim's body fell to the pavement and he eventually lost his life.

Members of the National Guard arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area due to the incident.

While a criminal expert removed the body and transferred it to the Forensic Medical Service to perform the corresponding autopsy.

The motive for the murder and the whereabouts of the alleged perpetrator remain unknown.
