Pétala was shot in front of a residence by two men on a motorcycle.
A trans woman, identified as Pétala, 20 years old, was shot dead on Rua Pedro Ulisses, in the Propira neighborhood, in Castanhal, in the northeast of Pará. The crime occurred on Monday night (2/12), when the victim was in front of a residence. The suspects of the crime are two men who arrived on a motorcycle.
According to initial information, the crime occurred around 9 pm. The victim had gone out to buy a snack when she was surprised by the criminals. The men shot the victim and fled. Pétala died instantly. People who were passing by reported the death to a Military Police vehicle from the 5th PM Battalion.
