Churris' body was found submerged in water near a beach resort. Her death is being investigated as a possible homicide.
The Monagas state press reported that this Sunday, residents near a beach resort in Cedeño found the body of a transgender girl .
Although the body was submerged in water, the Scientific Police are investigating whether this is a murder against a member of the LGBTQ community.
The incident shocked the Guayatá sector, San Félix de Caicara parish, Cedeño municipality.
It was immediately known that the young woman was known as "La Churry," but her legal name is [deadname] Arasme.
