Quincy was shot once in the chest. A taxi was seen leaving the scene at high speed.

Atlanta police were looking Tuesday for the driver of a taxicab that was seen speeding away from a lot where a teenager was found shot to death.

Quincy Favors Taylor, 16, had been shot once in the chest. Police had not established a motive or identified a suspect Tuesday evening, said Lt. R.G. Christian.

Two people found the body about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday behind the A&P store at 2275 Marietta Blvd.

"Some type of cab was leaving the area at a high rate of speed," Christian said. "It was about the same time the two people found the body. We're hoping somebody saw something."

Detectives were investigating a tip that Favors frequented Loretta's Disco at 708 Spring St. N.W., a popular gay club featuring cross-dressing entertainment.
