Ceci was shot in the head and shoulder in a hostel. Pablo Alejandro Peralta was arrested and charged with murder.
“Ceci” Montenegro was admitted to the Regional hospital after receiving four gunshots while she was with a companion in a motel on ruta 1 and calle 1 in the San Fernando neighborhood. The assailant was arrested on Monday.
“Ceci” Montenegro could not overcome the serious injuries suffered Sunday morning and died after almost two days of agony.
As you will remember, the [trans woman] had been shot several times by a companion with whom she shared a moment in a hotel at the intersection of ruta 1 and calle 1 i, at the entrance to the San Fernando neighborhood, in the neighboring city of La Banda.
After being injured, Montenegro was abandoned by her companion and found hours later bathed in blood by one of the motel employees.
The subject accused of having shot her was arrested on Monday when a police commission of the Investigation Brigade of Regional Unit II found him on Independence prolongation, in the Los Flores neighborhood. At the time the detainee, identified by investigators as Pablo Alejandro Peralta (30) was waiting for a vehicle that would take him to the province of Buenos Aires.
