Luisa was stabbed over 50 times.
On October 5, 2012, Luisa, a 40-year-old transsexual woman, was brutally murdered with 53 stab wounds in Santa Cruz. Almost 11 years later, the perpetrator has not been identified. It is known that he was a man who used to visit her and that he escaped from her after her attack.
After ups and downs in the process, the complaint faces a lack of progress according to a report from the LGBTIQ+ observatory. Despite the years that have passed, [as of 2023] the search for justice remains without results.
